Workshops on Research Methods for Social Sciences

To address the issue of tremendous lack of practical knowledge of social science research methods, the Lithuanian Social Science Forum initiated the series of methodological workshops for junior scholars, in particularly PhD students. Eight workshops were organized in 2004 on the following topics: checking and weighing of data, regression analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, quantitative and qualitative content analysis, etnographical method, focus groups, and in-depth interviews.
The workshops were supported by Civic Education Project.
